The Henning Pauly track reminds me of time in college a friend borrowed pink Floyd wish you were here & taped it , then complained tape was defective because track suddenly lost volume in one channel & started with funny noises. I had to explain to him that was the way it segwayed into the next song ☺.
Nice to hear hear some of the dinosaurs still putting out good music.
I was wondering if you ever do any shows highlighting some of the best classic prog not so well known by today’s audience? There’s an awful lot of excellent stuff from the 70’s not played on classic rock radio.
Keep up the good work
Thanks for listening.
I would check out our Thursday night show. Unfortunately you can’t subscribe to it as he has not figured out if he can do a podcast. It might be a money thing and a tech thing.
tagline for the show
“Intelligent, emotional, and visceral classic to modern progressive rock broadcasted every Thurs. from 6-9 pm CST on progrock.com.”

I will keep in mind, but not usually available at that time of day, but you should take time to check out some Nektar, Strawbs, Horslips, Camel, SBB, Le Orme, Phoenix, Quidam, Kate Bush, Wally, Eloy, Gentle Giant, Tempano, Renaissance, to name just a few off the top of my head . There’s an amazing legacy in prog & while Floyd, Tull, Genesis & Yes are still widely played, many others are unjustly getting lost in time.
That being said I do enjoy your show & try to stay up on the neoprog too , but definitely appreciate your availability on podcast as my time in car is often when I catch up on my listening
Somehow even though I am 20 years older than Ian the DJ on Thursday, I tend to like the neo prog and he likes the older stuff.
